Thick folded-cuff beanies: The folded cuff creates a thick band around the head that can create pressure points under a welding helmet headband. Choose single-layer or unfold the cuff.

Pom-pom beanies / top-heavy styles: The pom or decorative top sits between the head and the helmet’s top pad/crown area. Usually not an issue for comfort but can affect helmet stability.
